In this Young Adult novel, Griffin Storm is an albino man with unbelievable abilities.
He's telepathic and he can manipulate glass and crystal. He lives in Underground Atlanta and uses his abilities while on raids for food and medicine for the children that live there. He soon meets the legendary Guardians of the Brotherhood Fortress. He's taken to their underground fortress and it's soon found that he might be the foretold savior that will get rid of the Brotherhoods nemesis, the Guild Faction, for good. He meets and falls head over heels for Tassta Vinetti, the Regulator's niece and he decides that he wants to stay at the fortress. Lerin believes that Griffin is the foretold Blood Master, a being that houses doors to heaven and hell in his chest and that will eventually rid the world of the Guild Faction. Griffin is a mystery. Is he the product of the Guild's unusual genetic experiments, experiments that always result in monsters.
