Her novels, Blood Master & Perfect Chaos both hit the
Best Sellers Top 100 List and Chocolate & Diamonds for the Woman's Soul,
a book she co-authored, was #1 on the International Best Sellers Top 100 List!
Kirsten was abandoned by her Jamaican father and German mother at six-years-old and she
survived a devastating childhood. She found strength and courage through reading and writing and
she graduated, got married and raised four wonderful children. She also cared for several
children that were abandoned by their parents and by society, (a few were literally left on her
doorstep.) She fed and clothed them and sent them to school and taught them to be upstanding,
decent members of society.
Kirsten wrote the G.O.D.s Series several years ago. The series started out as four books and has grown to five. Blood Master-Book 1 of the G.O.D.s Series is available in Adult/Young Adult. Blood Phase-Book 2 of the G.O.D.s Series will be available in Adult/New Adult. All five books deal with Griffin Storm's life, a hero with feet of clay and a heart of gold that ends up at the Brotherhood fortress in Atlanta, Georgia. He lives there and falls in love with Tassta Vinetti, a Guardian of the fortress. It's soon discovered that he is the prophesied Blood Master, and that he will transform into a G.O.D., a genetically-enhanced omni dimensional being, a being that can manipulate glass, crystal and control materials in several dimensions at once. Once transformed he will also have the ability to call demons from hell and angels from heaven, only he has to learn to control his abilities or he could very well destroy the earth. So he remains in the brig, where he can practice controlling his abilities until he can do as the prophecy says, save everyone at the fortress from the Guild Faction, (a tyrannical organization in 2052) and eventually, save all the children of Underground Atlanta from abandonment and neglect.
Kirsten's short story, “Dark Matters”, was published in Bewildering Stories and a character from the G.O.D.s Series made a special appearance in that story. Said character appears in the second book of the G.O.D.s Series, “Blood Phase," which came out in March of 2017, and the third book, "Blood Rage,” which is due out in late 2017.
As a side note, Kirsten is a part of several anthologies: Chocolate & Diamonds for the Woman's Soul, an international best seller (2015), and Gems of Strength by Metamorph Publishing (2016) and Through the Darkness: Stories of Hope (2016) . Ladybug Press published her chapbook, “Poetry from the Covert Bourgeoisie,” in 2006 and her chapbook, “The Abandoning Kind,” was published by Pudding House Publications in 2009. She lives in Brewster, NY., with her feisty daughters and her five unbelievably beautiful grandchildren!
