Christmas came and went and I’ve wished everyone a Merry one on Facebook. I miss my son and wished him a Merry Christmas. We are talking about moving out of the house we are in, but that’s a slow process. We will begin to look in January. The house is too big, too much up keep. Meanwhile, I’m doing a few edits on my second book. First, I print out the chapters and then work out problems in point of view and grammar. I believe that you can see the errors easier on the printed page. God, this was a work of love from the start. I just wrote and wrote and didn’t think about anything else. Now, I have to work my way through this 1000 page manuscript to the actual story. It’s there, just a little bit heavy with verbiage. I’m a windbag on paper...

This is the month I look forward to and dread all year.
I have lots of grandchildren and I put forth every effort to make sure that I get each several really great presents. My older grands will get tablets this year. The younger ones, lots of dolls and toys. My kids? Well, therein lays the conundrum. I know what they want and what they need. Should I get what they want or what they need? Of course I have already gotten a few odds and ends, but I wait for the big present for each of them. I have an idea what I will get them and of course I will order the presents online, my favorite thing to do. I’ve taken a hiatus on my book. Meanwhile, I have several people that are reading it so I can get some reviews. I enjoy the holidays, especially since I was not allowed to have any when I was a kid. I give till it hurts, literally.
